Bell Ringers / Tree of Lights Campaign

The Tree of Lights Campaign is an opportunity for you or your business to make a difference during the Christmas season. The Salvation Army has several volunteer opportunities during the campaign including bell-ringing, pick-ups, and organizational tasks.
The Salvation Army Tree of Lights Campaign is a tradition which rings-in the Christmas season throughout the area. All of the funds raised during this time remain in our community to help those in need throughout the year. These funds enable us to provide assistance with food, utilities, emergency rent, and mortgage payments. These vital services would not be possible without the hundreds of volunteer bell-ringers who generously donate thousands of hours each year.
Did you know your time/donation provides miracles for your neighbors?
º Two hours of your time can generate enough donations to prevent a family of four from going hungry for one month.
º Four hours of your time can help keep a family in their home for another month through the donations you collect. How can you make a difference?
º Volunteer to help ring in the Christmas season at one of our kettle locations.Consider ringing as an individual, family, company, school, church, or civic organization.
º Consider hosting a “Kettle Battle” with your colleagues: a friendly competition where you team-up for a day and attempt to raise more Red Kettle donations than a fellow team.
º Host a Red Kettle on the counter at your small business or start an office collection. º Drop your spare change in a Red Kettle or donate through an Online Red Kettle.
